Photographer #3: Eric Pickersgill

I chose this photographer for one particular project of his, titled "Removed". In it, he takes everyday situations, only he removes the cellphone of the subject but has them keep the pose as if it was still there. The idea of the project is to raise awareness of just how big a role cell phones play in our lives, and ultimately the reactions that we are robbing ourselves of. This is possibly one of my favorite art projects I've ever seen, though I must admit my own guilt of being consumed by my cell phone.
